D&D Eberron Campaign: S.P.I.R.E.

Dec 04, 2009 20:16:34 Alright, it's been ages since I posted last, it's nice to see that the forums are actually pretty well formatted now. I think. Anyhow, for anyone that's interested in Eberron campaings/critiquing Eberron campaigns, I'm interested in any feedback that folks might have in regards to the one I've been running.

I guess personal preference wins on this one. The image actually made me want to see more. I actually quite like where your going with your campaign. Its not necessarily what I would run but it has some good stuff on there.

Ive bookmarked it so i can keep checking back from time to time.

Dec 14, 2009 4:50:32 Well, the header image was intentionally cheesecake, to fit the more action-adventure side of what I'm doin'. To each their own, of course.

Dec 14, 2009 16:43:35 How do those drama cards work out in actual play? Do you enjoy them or find that you could just chalk that up to flavor and roleplay?

Dec 14, 2009 17:14:01 In my experience, they're fantastic - they admittedly give a little more power into the hands of the players, so I do up the challanges appropriately. But, for example, a player used "Gremlins" to cause a lever to malfunction, so that an NPC couldn't lower a bridge. A minor incident that changed how the combat played out.

I've been using the drama cards since the days of 3.0, but only recently took the time to make them look nice, instead of just printing them out on business cards.

(Also, thanks to those that bookmarked the campaign).
