| #1mattvo29Feb 04, 2011 14:33:17 | So I'm running a dnd game where the six Daelkyr that are imprisoned with Kyber are going to attempt to bust out of their prison. From what I can see only four of them have been named; Dyrrn, Belashyrr, Orlassk, and Kyrzin. Does anyone know of a source book that either talks about these Daelkyr directly and/or names the other two that are suppose to be trapped? Thank you for your help. Matt |

I think the other two you are looking for are : The Stained One - Magic of Eberron pg. 23-24 and Bhodex'av'gr the Shaper of Plants - Five Nations pg 67-68 |

Similarly, there are also references to some of the horrors the daelkyr commited upon the daakani goblins in Queen of Stone and the last of the goblins of Darguun trilogy. Being novels they do not contain any game mechanics, but they do place the daelkyr into the context of the world. Lady Ruin also goes a bit into the motivation on why people would even be on the daelkyr's side in a conflict beyond the obvious power-hungry and it is just a tool one. |

In a 4e campaign, do you think the daelkyr are trapped in Khyber as in literally underground or Khyber as in the Elemental Chaos? Would also love to hear why you think this as well. ^_^ |
| #5mattvo29Feb 27, 2011 9:51:13 | Thank you everyone for your help, I think the Daelkyr (or am playing it as) that they are litterally undergound with rest of the demons, and they don't get along so well. It's a power struggle (I guess I'd see it to be like the Blood War), the Daelkyr weren't made by Kyber so the demons are pissed and the Daelkyr just don't want to be there to begin with. Fortunately the Lords of Dust are powerfull enough to halt them from making their way through the holes in the Demon Wastes. Thanks again. Matt |
