Darkwalker from FRPG

Im converting some of the Paragon Paths from the FRPG over to Eberron. In each case of re-writing the flavour text so that its more akin to Eberron. Im stuck on Darkwalker - im thinking this needs to be related perhaps to one of the planes in Eberron but im not really sure which. Anyone have any ideas ?

And yes, the basic idea is that the closer an Umbragen becomes to the Umbra, the less "human" he becomes. This could lead to becoming insubstantial or wraith-like, or to manifestations like the flying warlock in the image above.

In 4E, you could certainly choose to make the Umbragen using Shadar-kai instead of drow, saying that their pact with the Umbra (which is, essentially, the primal force of the Shadowfell) has fundamentally transformed them.
