It's all in the ECS, IIRC. If not, Five Nations. It's one of the two.

The settlement story reminds me of the Roanoke Colony (North Carolina 1585-1587) history. If to draw a parallel to Desolate it could be that some of the settlers where assimilated into Orcish tribes (maybe a source of half-orcs ?) - this is just a wild theory not really based on the ECS facts.

Sep 01, 2008 14:09:48 Heh, more likely enslaved into the Carrion Tribes, eaten by fiendish creatures, turned into undead minions by a horde of vampires, taken by aboleth slavers, engulfed by the Rapture, or any number of explanations...
