Interesting idea I was thinking about:
Devils from Shavarath are actually refugees from the early times of Rakshasa dominance.
Originally, the battle was just a straight LG vs. CE, but the devils came along and started hiring themselves out.

Thoughts?

Shavarath in broad terms is meant to represent the concept and emotion of "war" on every conceivable scale. Just as Xoriat is inspiration (and madness) and Thelanis is fey whismy (and capricious attitude), Shavarath is meant to be war and conflict.

So having the Devils from Sharvarth as interlopers of a sort actually makes a good deal of sense. These are being who were born of war (between Khyber, Eberron and Siberys) who fought against each other and eventually the Dragon/Couatl alliance and still war to this day (though in the shadows).

So having the Devils of Sharvarath as interlopers that jumped ship when the Devil's lost control of Eberron is an interesting point. You could call them either opportunists, looking for a new conflict, or deserters who didn't want to stick around as the various Lords of Dust were torn down with the loss of their immortal patrons. It could even lead to a very interesting conflict between the current Lords of Dust and the Devils of Shavarath, fiend against fiend is alway going to leave the players scratching their heads. And it also gives the players the opportunity for the old "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" scenario...

I'd hoped people would like this one.

I'd hoped people would like this one.

They did, at least I did, but my campaign aint focusing on that part of Eberron right now, so its not so easy for me to spin on this, but it is now part of my Canon/quirks of the world. If someone should find a reason to ask about it later on...

Now that Angels are no longer alignment linked, it would be also interesting to have them as a rogue force within the battles stated. You might never be too sure what side they are on. Having the pcs witness some Angels making a temporary truce deal with Fiends is certainly worth the price of admission

Out of curiosity, are there any GOOD-only outsiders now?

Currently no, since generally PC's don't come into conflict with nice people. Same as there are currently no stats for Metallic (and generally good) Dragons, we don't have stats for actualy "good" outsides. Wizards appears to be taking the stance that parties are generally made of goodly or neutral people so why would they need to fight other goodly beings, ergo no stats requirred for them. This may change with MM2 or other supplements, but nothing has been said on those books yet.
