The ideal would be translucent with a dark swirl in the middle. I've found a few that come close but not perfect. Some are swirly but opaque, translucent but not the right color or without swirls, etc. Honestly, if WotC offered these as a product, I'd buy them. |

Some are swirly but opaque, translucent but not the right color or without swirls, etc. I have a couple sets of these: chessex.com/Dice/Lustrous/27093.htm, and while they aren't perfect representations of Siberys shards,t hey're quite close. The picture is much dark than mine actually are(Which irritated me initially, because I really wanted that color, but in hindsight, I love them) No clue if anyone actually sells something like that but i am told chessex makes almost anything in custom dice. It seems they have to be simply translucent solid color though. |
| #4AmarilApr 15, 2011 8:59:21 | I have the lustrous shadow w/ gold set that I bought specifically for use with Eberron, too. I pretend that they are Khyber shards still embedded in rock. The lustrous gold w/ silver would be a close match for Siberys shards as you stated. Too bad there's no reddish pink version for Eberron shards. |
