So , after picking up EPG today, ive been trying to decide how excatly i want to convert my 8th lvl Artificer, from playtest.

The Dragonmark feats give you certain Ritual Masterys. The Mark of Hospitality, gives you the Level 16 Ritual Fantastic Recopuration. My question is, Why should i spend a feat slot in Heroic Tier, If i cant use that ritual until i turn level 16. Or am i missing something. Does the feat allow you to use the ritual before the stated level?

They don't let you use the rituals early, but I personally wouldn't buy the mark just for rituals. Each mark should come with a power enhancer which in many ways forms the primary reason to take the feat. To me, the Rituals are just icing on the cake.

No. In fact it doesn't give you the ritual but instead the ability to use it if you choose to purchase and master it.

Take a Dragon Mark if it's power or lore meshes with your concept. As an artificer you would probally be more interested in the Mark of Healing then Mark of Hospitality if all you're looking at is power. Fantastic Restoration is a restoration ritual, so you'd get access to it in the deal anyway.
