#1 jhanzur Jun 05, 2009 4:30:33	Mark of Warding (Dragon mark) Benefit: Whenever one of your powers grants a bonus to a defense, increase that bonus by 1. Whenever you mark an enemy, that enemy takes a –3 penalty to attack rolls for attacks that don’t target you instead of the normal –2 penalty. You can master and perform rituals in the warding category and the Fluid Funds (page 118), Knock (PH 307), and Leomund’s Secret Chest (PH 307) rituals as if you had the Ritual Caster feat.

#6 superdeadsmurf Jun 07, 2009 19:21:43	Yeah that mark is really good for just about and defender and most leaders, which really is about where I see most Kundarak PCs I see them in those roles before strikers or defenders

The long answer is the Mark of Warding has only ever appeared on dwarves throughout recorded history. The feat and mark are open to PCs of any race because they're special. If a player chooses to take a mark outside of their racial marks the DM is allowed to have the House, The Twelve, The Dragons of Argonessen, and probably half a dozen other powerful factions in the world capture yu and disect you. It is being called out and marked by the prophecy directly and is a BIG FREAKING DEAL!

If a player chooses to take a mark outside of their racial marks the DM is allowed to have the House, The Twelve, The Dragons of Argonessen, and probably half a dozen other powerful factions in the world capture yu and disect you. It is being called out and marked by the prophecy directly and is a BIG FREAKING DEAL! This gives me an idea for a character background: a Dwarf PC with the mark of Making forced by the Twelve to give up his dragonmarked arm and becomes a self-forged.

Now just add in that during the game the mark manifests again on your chest or head and you have to make very sure that no one finds out and you have a character :P

Well first they will put a gun to your haid and say "DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!! BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T I'LL BLOW YOUR BRAINS ALL THE WAY TO DAL QUOR!!" Wait...that means Warforged can make more Warforged! Well, at least they'll have an easyer way to do it. :D Reminds me of that scene from Attack of The Clones... C3PO: "...Machines making machines!"
#17 Nived Jun 09, 2009 18:47:47	I can tell you that from the time this was announced at Gen Con last year at the Secrets of Eberron seminar to now everytime its brought up Keith has chimed in that a mark outside of the normal race is a special thing that is PC only or DM plot point. There are not going to be suddenly teiflings and humans in House Jorasco. More to the point check out the June and Beyondpreview of the Eberron Campaign Setting which again points out how the marks belong to certain races and houses. PCs by deffinition 'break the rules'
