The description (which is also available on the website) states that bones go on for "miles", and talks about a dizzying bluff. The accompanying map has a scale of 1 square = 30 ft (and isn't very wide) and looks more like a crater than a bluff. Ideas? I'd like the party to get lost in there for a while. But if its so small... |

The description (which is also available on the website) states that bones go on for "miles", and talks about a dizzying bluff. The boneyard is surrounded by thick jungle. Travelers know they are near by the sight of frequent heaps of smaller bones among the undergrowth. Primitive creatures are drawn to the boneyard when death is nigh, perhaps by some primal urge to rest close to the chosen of Eberron. The remains of tigers, elephants, and entire tribes of savage humanoids dot the surrounding jungle. A party closing in on the site from the northeast emerges from the treeline to the edge of a dizzying bluff overlooking miles of bleached bone. According to context(and, please, correct me if I'm wrong) it seems that bones do go on miles, yet for the most part they are not draconic, but the bones of lesser creatures. They go for miles, yet the true Dragon boneyard is much smaller. Of course, you can always increase its size if that suits your campaign, making it more like the Boneyard valley in the Talenta plains. |
