Just wonder if dwarves have any strongholds/communities in other areas than Mror Holds. I know there are some dwarves in Sarlone and maybe Frostfell (that's where all dwarves originated from).

I assume there is at least a few minor mining settlements here and there in human lands, however nothing big.

If anyone played the computer game called called Dragonshard they had some dwarves there who weren't part of Mror Holds I believe. Where did they live and they worshipped the silver flame... right?

Well, Dwarves are everywhere, as are financial opportunities/mining/whatever. So I'm sure they have strongholds, just not too many that are listed.

Also, House Kundarak tends to build their vaults like mini-citadels IIRC. It's probably easier to topple a king's castle than to attack the bank... so at least in that sense, there are mini fortresses/communities of dwarves across Khorvaire.

As part of the former Kingdom of Galifar, Dwarves from the Mror Holds spread out all across Khorvaire and each of the five nations has a not so insignificant Dwarven population.  After humans, I think Dwarves are the most common race in Karrnath, and there are quite a few in the Lhazaar Principalities.

These Dwarves often have very little to do with those in the Mror Holds.  These are Dwarves that have been living in their respective lands for many generations and they see themselves as cultutrally Brelish or Aundairan more than they seem themselves as a Dwarf or even more specifically, a Mror Holds Dwarf.

The idea of a bunch of Dwarves living in some other nation and following the faith of the Silver Flame is not a large stretch by any means.

I've long assumed in my games that dwarves have colonized most of sub-surface Khorvaire but that these colonies have no need to interact with the surface races.

The Dwarves in Dragonshard were actually from the Demon Wastes; like most of the humans in the Demon Wastes, their ancestors were Sarlonans who fled during the Sundering. While they had common cause with the Silver Flame, they didn't worship it in the same form as the people of the Five Nations; they were simply guided to join the expdition by their sages. In the game, they are unusual in that they actually have Deathless - with the idea being that just because the Aereni are the most accomplished in the creation of Deathless, it's not something that's innately limited to elves. The basic principles (positive-energy undead sustained by the devotion of their descendants) remain the same. Needless to say, the society is far smaller than Aerenal, and thus their Deathless are fewer in number and lack the gestalt power of the Undying Court.

In many ways, the Five Nations alliance in Dragonshard is an earlier version of the Covenant of Light in Xen'drik expeditions - so while Lady Maryn is tied to the Silver Flame and is the most prominent figure, the dwarves and others have been drawn by their own faith.
