Eberro campaign advice (4e, 9th-30th)

Our group did Ashen Crown and is about to finish Pyramid of Shadows, after which I think we'll be 9th.

I'm currently a player, but will run the campaign for a bit to give the DM a break (we are all traumatized by the Pyramid!!! ;) )

With the Ashen Crown series we had a fairly Sharn-centric setting, which we all enjoyed pretty well.

Can anyone comment on what adventure series they have used in Eberron from 10th-30th? Specifically wondering if there are any of the longer term series that could be stitched together well and set in Eberron.

Sep 29, 2012 15:56:02 My groups usually didn't use published Adventures (though I wish some of my DMs had...) but I like to examine them as a DM myself. How much work are you doing as interim DM? It's always possible to resuse previous edition adventures, after conversion, and most adventures give you the power to raise the level to match your players - Eyes of the Lich Queen for example.

The other way is to adjust general Adventures to Eberron, which I find easier. King of the Trollhaunt Warrens can become a rogue troll warlord in Droamm and the players defend either Breland or the rule of the Hag Sisters. The second Adventure, Demon Queen's Enclave, is a little harder to convert but you can keep the drow and make it Xen'drik, make the Underdark a trip to Khyber (drow or no drow?), or move to the Demon Wastes. A Rajah becomes the big bad. The third Adventure, Assault on Nightwyrm Fortress, is easier because souls do go to the Shadowfell (Dolurrh) and taking on a shadow dragon might lead to adventures later in Argonnessen (how much farther from Sharn can you get?).

I've also looked at placing Revenge of the Giants in Xen'drik, possibly making the last guardian a member of the Undying Court unable to contact Aerenal.

Any help?

Anyone else play an Eberron campaign at the paragon or heroic level? What did you do? *crickets*

Nov 11, 2012 18:42:45 Has anyone converted the Tear of Ioun series (touch of madness)? I'm thinking of setting it in Sharn and having the BBEG be related to Blood of Vol or a Lord of Dust
