Has WotC announced whether they are going to release a series of Eberron modules, or just individual modules every once in a while? I know the first one is scheduled for July - are they going to do a whole line of them, like they did with the Keep on the Shadowfell/etc. modules?

I may be starting a new campaign soon, which I'd like to run in Eberron.

I think they said a while back that they're going to be following the same general practice for all of the settings, which means that there will only be one published, printed module for the setting, and then invididual setting-specific adventures in Dungeon magazine.

There will be at least 3 Eberron 4E modules by July:

-The introductory one in the EPG (assuming it follows the same structure as the FRPG)
-Seekers of the Ashen Crown, stand-alone module
-Khyber's Harvest, module available at Free RPG Day

We've no idea about additional modules, but as NthDegree says we're not expecting a printed series following Seekers.

That's too bad. I'd like to run an Eberron campaign, but I don't really have the time to write my own material. I could convert some of the other published adventures to an Eberron setting, but just changing the names of the cities and NPCs isn't really going to change the flavor. I'd like to run something that's uniquely Eberron - with airships, dragonmarks, kalashtar, etc.

You could run 3.5 modules and update the encounters and treasure.

Didn't I hear somewhere we'd see an update for the Forgotten Forge in Dungeon or something?

Well, next we have DUN: Heart of the Forbidden Forge, which may or may not be something to use...most likely Scales of War though...

Heart of the Forbidden Forge

By Luke Johnson
Many Cannith creation forges were lost on the Day of Mourning, but a rogue artificer has uncovered one of those that pursued some of the most experimental and dangerous research during the Last War. While seeking the forbidden knowledge in the forge, this explorer awakened a dark power that was more than she could handle, and it now threatens the region. An adventure for 7th-level PCs set in the Eberron campaign setting.

Interesting. It looks like this could be set in the Mournlands.

Wait, what is this module, and when is it coming out? *Citation Needed*, if you will.

It's in this month's Dungeon magazine, and is due for release on 10th June.

One thing that Dragon Magazine did was give setting specific details for the standard modules so they could be run in Forgotten Realms. I have no doubt that they will do the same for Eberron as well, that way you can easily use the "core" adventures anywhere. I personally am using Thunderspire as a gateway into the Underdark for my PC's in my Forgotten Realms campaign.

Will Khyber's Harvest be a free ionline Download?

I hate to toot my own horn, but I've converted The Forgotten Forge to 4th edition rules and posted it elsewhere on the forum. I'm going to convert the rest of the series as I run it by a group, which should progress pretty quickly once we start (14 days and counting).

Won't come with some of the fancy maps that you might get buying modules but I'm pretty pleased with how it's coming so far.

I don't believe that I saw your conversion. If it is in a tidy and userfriendly format, feel free to post in the my resources thread and I'll put it in the list.

Is that the PDF one? I think I commented on that thread.

Oh man, you're going to do Whispers of the Vampire's Blade? That was SUCH a pimpin' awesome mod.

Whisper's is going really well for me right now too, as I'm running it also. (I'm not going to to PDF it since my files skip over stuff I'm not going to use, and have group specific information in there too) This weekend my players will attempt to get onto the Airship!

Oh man, that scene and the next one my players will remember 'till the day they die. I SO wanted to take the module's suggestion of the cliffhanger when YOU KNOW WHAT happens. I told my players about that suggestion after they finished that scene, and one of them said, "I wouldn't have been able to sleep for a week!"
