So has anybody read the "Epic Destinies in D&D 3.5" article?

How do you see them fitting into Eberron? The Artifact Lord is so a Artificer epic destiny while the demigod and eternal hero destinies might cause some problems due to Eberrons different cosmology.

While we are at it, howabout we try fitting some NPCs with epic destinies. Let's ignore actuall levels and just think of the posibilites.

Oalian: Force of Nature, do doubts about it.
Artifact Lord: House Cannith :P
Demigod: Jaela Daran and Erandis d'Vol

Bumping for people's ideas on Eberron specific Epic-Destinies.

You know, I could see there being a Warforged specific destiny or atleast paragorn path related to the Becoming God.

The epic destinies give some form of immortality, how would this affect the Blood of Vol? I'm sure they are happy, but how?

So would you say Lady Vol has completed her epic destiny by forming her own religion, or will do so once those meddling deities and dragons suffer for what they've done?

i don't think she is near her destiny... she should barely be into her Paragon Paths if you ask me... as we know she would be over 11.... but epic? far from it...

if anything the only NPC i could see going into their epic destiny would be the dragon prince in stormreach (if he is as powerful as the stories say) Oalian, and the oringal dragons who accended to godhood as the soverign host (if you like that story for the gods)

beyond that anything that is over level 20 is long gone from this world or never were of this world...

"Avatar of the Draconic Prophecy" makes such an awesome Eberron-specific Epic Destiny.

I see the Draconic Prophecy, the Silver Flame and Kalashtar's quori connection as excellent sources for Epic destinies with a real Eberron flair.

Vol's probably completed her paragon path and beginning her epic destiny. Other than that, I'm betting that you've got to leave Khorvaire to find any epic characters.

Allow me to suggest an Epic Destiny,

The Heir of Siberys

"Power is in your blood. Whether you are a loyal scion of one of the great dragonmarked houses, a wanderer whose heritage has remained a mystery, or a renagade who has cast their familial ties aside in pursuit of a life free from politics; it is your destiny to manifest the Mark of Siberys, one of the greatest signs of power in the known history of Eberron. Your will alone will shake the world, and the mark that blazes across your skin will blaze just as brightly in the memories of commoners all across the land of Khorvaire."

Heir of Siberys Features

21st - The Mark of Siberys. A great flowing mark upon your skin in the form of a dragon, spreads across your body. You gain the Siberys Dragonmark power of your Dragonmarked House. You gain an addition use of this ability at 25th level.

24th - Dragonmarked Idol. Those who know of your mark see you as a creature of legend and prophecy. The Dragonmarked houses, nobles across Khorvaire, and even some Dragons treat you with a respect and awe. You gain bonuses in social situations and can call in favors from the dragonmarked houses.

26th - Spirit of Siberys. You are imbued with the heroic power Siberys, the great golden dragon of legend. You gain powers that let you use action points in vastly heroic ways.

30th - True Heir. In addition the the abilities of your Siberys Dragonmark that you have already attained, you gain a truly world shaking power from your Dragonmark that will make you a legend for time immemorial. When people think of your house, they will remember you. Whether they remember tyranny, sacrifice, or heroism remains in your hands to decide.

maybe something to do with your religions?
like for the flame, either joining it (not like the standard your dead join the flame) or the pope's right hand? or becoming a living archon of the flame or somthin?
