They are supposed to be Kaius III's younger sibilings, but he was born after his father's death, making a pair of royal younger sibilings at least a little problematic. The one whose age we have solidly, Haydith, is supposed to be 15 in 998, but her father Jaron died in 972, 11 years before her birth. I'm wondering if this has been covered elsewhere by an official source. |

Though I don't think it's mentioned anywhere (though I'll skim through Forge of War later), it wouldn't surprise me if Kaius III's mother remarried sometime after Jaron's death (particularly since Jaron's power passed to a regent, not his wife, until Kaius III was old enough to take control). |
