Some of you, when reading this, will probably go -- "You can't put science into D&D!"  The rest of you, don't listen to them.  Some of you, when reading this, will probably go, "Hmmm . .."  Some of you will find it interesting. After watching David Talbott's and Walter Thornhill's Thunderbolts of the Gods and watching snippets of Remembering the End of the World and snippets of the video series Symbols of an Alien Sky, David Talbott and Walter Thornhill had effectively constructed what our Neolithic Ancestors saw in the sky.  This was the Age of the Myth Makers here on Earth.  Our Neolithic ancestors saw a different sky than what we are used to. What does this have to do with Eberron?  IT is said that the three dragons created Eberron as the people know knew it.  I say, the Eberron neolithic people saw something similar to what the Ancients seen in their Night Sky during our neolithic age. Before the Eberronic Old Stone Age Eberron, THE PLANET, was actually formed out of plasma in a planetary nursery: which happened to be that of a larger planet, probably a Gas Giant like Saturn or Jupiter.  It joined a family of planets, which included the planet Syberys, and the Planet Khyber.  The Planet Eberron orbited the planet Bahamut in a Bahamut Synchronous orbit at it's south pole.  Also included in this Constellation was the Planet Syberys and the Planet Khyber. (Don't watch the video, just look at the frozen frame.) Khyber was behind Syberys, as Venus was behind mars as shown in this video.  In time, do to electrical imbalance between Khyber and Bahamut, Khyber formed a brilliant five pointed star with Syberys in the center.  As time went on, the planets came out of alignment.  The Planet Eberron and it's system was captured by it's present sun, and was "falling" towards it's present orbit.  The other planets were "falling" as well.  This created spectacular images in the sky.  Khyber turned into the five headed dragon Tiamat and Syberys was dancing with the Princess/Dragon. As Eberron continued to fall, it captured 13 moons.  The last, the fabled moon associated with Quoror, became a rogue body when Eberron was struck by Khyber and was divided.  Pieces of Eberron flew off into interplanetary space, becoming a new planet and creating an asteroid belt, while other pieces of itself collided with Eberron.  The results were that pieces of Khyber joined with Eberron and Eberron remade itself.  As for Syberys.  Near Eberron flybys caused extreme interplantary lightning between Eberron and Syberys, and extreme electrical arcing on Syberys, blowing off a significant part of the planet.  Some of these became asteroids, two of these became Syberys' moons.  Several other pieces orbit Eberron and became the Ring of Syberys. Khyber and Syberys orbit in the Solar System, as part of the inner planets.  The planet Bahamut is a gas giant, which also orbits in its own orbit in the outer planets of Eberron's solar system.  And Eberron is pretty small compared to it's original size.  As for Khyber, Khyber makes up Eberron's new Center of Gravity.  But not necessarily the planet core.  Pieces of Syberys makes up the ring system of Eberron.  And it must have been done recently,  becuase the ring is still young.
