I m planning to start an Eberron game and I would be interested to know if someone has a random name generator, particurlarly from breland. I didn't find any good one on the net.

Jul 28, 2008 17:25:09 I'd like to add that if anybody's happened to compie a list of all these fancy family names that keep popping up in various sources (all the "irs" for example) that's be rad.

At least, if you don't have one im curious to know how you generate name for your NPC and PC character.

Aug 07, 2008 23:29:45 Five Nations (a 3.5 book) has some first and last names from each of the five nations, with the inexplicable exception of Cyre. You can mix-'n'-match the names or use 'em for inspiration.

I went through and compiled a list of the names found in many of the 3.5 Wizards books. I am currently working on adding the names found in the back of the Hero Builders Guidebook. It's not a generator, but it is a list of names sorted by race/gender that includes Eberron names.

I found the Ever changing name book (http://ebon.pyorre.net/) on the net too. While it was made for Greyhawk and more traditional generic fantasy (Tolkien), the name in it are generic enough to be use in Eberron. Hope it will help some of you.
