Eberron, the Hollow Eberron

I've been reading up on the Hollow Earth theory so I had a nasty thought.  What if Eberron was hollow?  Everything is there for Eberron to be hollow.  Khyber is enveloped by Eberron itself, and Siberys is floating above the planet.

If we take the hollow sphere serious, then in the North Pole and the South Pole there are gaping maws to Eberron.  Inside the center is a sphere made from Siberys, and the center gravity would be represented by Khyber.

The inside could be the source of humans.  Humans are from *inside* Eberron.  If we increase Eberron's diameter to be Earth's then Khyber just has to be as dense as lead.  How awesome is that?  There would be one continent and one ocean, and it can be populated by monsters and animals not seen on the surface.  What an awesome idea.

Bear in mind that Khyber doesn't appear to follow the same natural laws as Eberron.  So questions of density, magnetic poles, etc, are all moot when it comes to Khyber - it doesn't appear to follow any rhyme or reason.

Neither does the Hollow Earth theory, according to a lot.

About 500 to 700 miles down beneath your feet is a paradise.  However, geologists and all the others say the Earth is a solid round ball.

Ever read "The Warlord" by Mike Grell... (original 1975+ not the new stuff)

Well it certainly goes with the pulp feel of Eberron.

Mystara had the Hollow World. You might want to look into that. It was kind of like "The land that time forgot", so you could put everything in Eberron that's ancient history and stick in this world.

Speaking of hollow worlds, in my mind Lamannia is just like Pryan.

It fits in exactly with Ebberon, and furthermore with a common vision of Khyber as a full blown world beyond the underdark. I believe the idea is that if you go deep enough, you'll come out of a tunnel and find an alien sky, as you've actually traveled into a demi-plane contained within the planet.

Though it's natural to expect it to be filled with abberations and fiends of every sort, there's no reason why you couldn't make it more akin to Pelinore or the Hollow World. Maybe it was settled by Kalashtar refugees and Sul' giants...
