| #1turbowombatOct 14, 2009 21:33:44 | I'm in an Eberron campaign and don't have the books handy. Does anyone here know the expected life span of Eladrin in Eberron? Playing a Warlord with mostly Eladrin fluffed gear (greatspear/eladrin chain) any recommendations on history, since I'm new to the setting? |

What do you do now? Unless you were one of the very rare Eladrins that were born and lived on Eberron, you're actually supposed to be new to it all. Apart from that, is largely depends on the feyspire you'll choose as your homeland. |

A possibility is that the warforged was lost and made his way into a feyspire before the day of mourning after they moved onto Eberron. He was not allowed to leave, or would give away the location of the Spire. He slowly began to identify with his captors (stockholm syndrome) and within a year or so was a fully functioning member of their society. Then the day of Mourning hit, stranding the towers and revealing them. Now the absolute ban of travel has been lifted, and he goes back into the world.
The best spires in my opinion for this origin are likely the one in Darguun, or the one in Karrnath, as the other ones are generally too far from the front or the major centres of the 5 nations to see many warforged before the end of the last war. A cool idea for this 'forged might be an Elvish name - but one that effectively means the same thing that most Warforged names do - objects (Saber, etc) or actions (Pierce, etc) |
