Will many or most of the Eye on Eberron series be random people or places of intrigue, or do you think there'll be broader topics in time? I don't actually have a preference. I just want to keep seeing more Eberron lore. ![]() |

I have to give Keith credit, he gives a pretty good balance between providing canon and providing room for GMs to make their own modifications. |

I don't actually have a preference. I just want to keep seeing more Eberron lore. The ones that are currently lined up are similar in scope - it's more "This particular Valenar clan" than "General customs of Valenar warclans" (not that there are Valenar on the horizon). What sort of broad topics might you hope to see, bearing in mind the restricted word count? |
| #4Magicstar1Aug 17, 2011 17:38:11 | Keith, great article. Love the ideas and how you described it. I got a place for Lost as well in my home game. Hope to see more of these in the future, any idea whether there is more Eberron coming up in dragon or dungeon? |
| #5AshlockAug 17, 2011 21:54:54 | What sort of broad topics might you hope to see, bearing in mind the restricted word count? Personally, I like locales, which is why Lost is an excellent one to address. Places and characters are easy to toss into a campaign; less so specific clans and subcultures. But they're all still interesting and usable in their own way. ![]() any idea whether there is more Eberron coming up in dragon or dungeon? I personally can vouch for one Eberron article coming out in September, but that's all I can say about that. ![]() |
| #6AvonRekaesAug 17, 2011 22:02:08 | Really really enjoying these Eye on Eberron articles. I'm right there with Ogiwan, where I feel like they're the perfect place to give more depths to the necessarily shallow hooks in the campaign setting. It's really amazing how every Eye on Eberron article so far has got me excited to use the subjects therein in my campaign. Lost is no exception. I really like the angle that Lost is Droam's intelligence agency. |
| #7chemikusAug 18, 2011 2:28:21 | I like the article. It does not only show a new fantastic location in droam, it also adds a new power group to the khorvarian espionage war. I also like the approach to mechanical information on the facades and Lost changelings without providing stat blocks. For future articles I would like to see some information about other regions of eberron. The first three articles were focusing on the western part of khorvaire. I think many people would like to see articles about Xen´drik, Argonessen or Sarlona. As a specific example, an article about Ohr Kaluun would be interesting, especially because several immigrant groups of western Khorvaire trace their origin to this region (including the doppelgangers of Lost). |
| #8Madfox11Aug 18, 2011 5:54:49 | Love the fluff... as always I wouldn't mind at least a smattering of mechanics once in a while. For example, a Lost theme to be applied on changeling/doppleganger monsters would have made the article even better. Or maybe even something more generic like a theme for priests of the Traveler so that it is more generic useful... |
| #9Magicstar1Aug 18, 2011 11:23:33 | I agree with Madfox that some smattering of crunch could add to the article to make them even better then they already are. Something that popped into my mind was a racial variant as presented in dungeon this month and in the Neverwinter campaign setting. The options presented here are a good approximation though. |
