Karrnath is just an awesome place to set a story, 'cause of all the political machinations (but with Zombies!) but this article just blew me away. I mean, where else will you find creepy old castle on a hill, surrounded by a zone of desolation, inhabited by necromancers doing unholy experiments, and it isn't necessarily evil? Eberron, thats where! |

Previously, I think we've only seen the other two alternatives (that they are animated by the "soul of Karnnath" or by anceint Qabalrin spirits loyal to Vol), but this new theory adds a whole new twist to them. Kudos, Keith! (Also, I love the little humrous blurb in the About the Author paragraph. Just imagining the shenanigans. :P) |

Eberron, thats where! Well said. In Eberron, you can take traditionally dark and evil things and they can be the good guys fighting for what they believe in. And I have to agree. This is probably my favorite one so far. I realize I'm very biased with all things Karrnathi. |

| #7StarsomavaNov 04, 2011 14:22:29 | I've had my party (sovereign host avenger, path of light pally, Valenar ranger, and a Silver flame worshiping artificer) chasing the Emerald claw for most of the Heroic tier. As soon as I saw this I decided what to do with them for paragon tier... team up with the Emerald Claw's biggest enemy, the Karnathi military. Fort bones made me change the course of the campaign and now that this place is there home base I've heard the party say things that I'ld never thought they would say like, " There's a legion of zombies with vampire calvary led by a litch coming towards us... we're saved!" |
