Looking for a list of conflicts during the Last War just about everyone has heard of. Sort of like our history's Gettysburg or D-Day.

Going to ve DMing a game where everyone's from a diffent country and must work together in order to survive after an airship crash. There will be other survivors, but the PCs will be the shot callers and most experience in combat and stuff. They will all have to work together despite their national allegiances. They allight have fought against or with each other before, which is why I'd like some famous conflicts to use as backstory.

Thanks so much!!

The old Forge of War book had quite a few of these but here are the major ones I can think off the top of my head:

  • The Battle of the Heirs was founght by all five heirs and their armies on Scions Sound at the vert start of the war.

  • The destruction of the White Arch Bridge was in the first few years of the war as I recall, but it was more like a terrorist attack than a battle.

  • Karrnath and Cyre went back and forth attacking each other in the early to middle part of the war, I think there were a coupl of sieges each on Eston (Cyre) and Korth (Karrnath), and Metrol was sacked, but I have no idea of the dates.

  • The Battle of Lucrhing Tower in 911 YK soured the relations between Thrane and Breland when Thrane "secured" the Brelish fortress to protect it from Cyre.

  • The civil wars that led to the independace of the Mror Holds, Eldeen Reaches, Valenar, etc. all happened around the 950's.

  • The Rekkenmark Raid was in 974, when Thrane attacked Karrnath.

  • 987 was the Battle of Cairn Hill, where Breland tried to reclaim the land it had lost to Cyre decades earlier.

  • The Day of Mourning goes without saying I'm sure
