Forgotten Forge Locations

Jan 04, 2009 18:39:39 I'm going ahead and updating the forgotten forge from the ECS to 4E (and may follow up doing the whole schema path if it goes well), and I've decided to do some padding of the adventure, adding some extra setting references and maybe some encounters too. As I was going through I remembered that there wasn't any detail given about where in the City the adventure locations were. The bridge from encounter 1 is in the upper city between Dalannan Tower and the Kelsa Spire but no district is given, the broken anvil is in the 'mason's tower' and the rats market and sewers are in the dorasharn tower, but neither are given any specifics.

I seem to remember Hellcow giving some suggestions way back, but I couldn't find them. Does anyone remember or have some suggestions?

Jan 15, 2009 15:48:31 I dont have my books in front of me right now. However, I do recall that Dalanaan (spelling?) Tower is part of the Morgrave University area. Also there is a reference to The Broken Anvil in one of the lower Entertainment districts, Callestan, I think. I do remember that Callestan is a battleground for the Boromar and Daask. Quite a dangerous place to be

The books I got this info from were Sharn and Player's Guide to Eberron (3.5 version of course)

I never thought to look in the player's guide. hey look a diagram of some of the other nearby towers even.

Callestan doesn't really seem to be the type of place Elaydren would put herself, but it is an Inn District... everything else does seem a little expensive for average level 1 PCs... so It seems ok... and there it is page 62 of Sharn. Well there we go.

Awesome, I had the information all this time, it just wasn't where I expected it.

Jan 16, 2009 14:45:10 Only one thing still eludes me and that is the location of the Message Station that opens the adventure SotLW. No info on that one. If anyone does have some let me know.
