| #1johnnyarkhamJul 01, 2008 10:49:37 | Can anyone point me to information, both in print and on the web, on this Druidic sect? I know there's a bit in the ECS and Faiths of Eberron. I haven't found anything much on the web. Thanks folks |
| #2johnnyarkhamJul 01, 2008 11:50:44 | One of the things that baffles me is that, apparently, they're not opposed to Outsiders, Undead, or Aberrations. Am I reading that correctly? Very strange IMO |
| #3mystrichJul 01, 2008 12:40:36 | Well, thats true of all druids, not just the Greensingers. Aberrations are unnatural corruptions of nature, Undead are something created by magic outside the natural life cycle, and Outsiders aren't from the world, which is where druids draw their power. |
| #4nymrohdJul 01, 2008 12:45:27 | Greensingers are NOT opposed. That is the opposite of all the other druids. |
| #5NivedJul 01, 2008 13:56:17 | Greensingers are a bunch of patchouli smellin hippies! They commune with nature and don't 'hate' anything unless it harshes their mello. |

Thought I'd add some emphasis there since I think it got missed the first time through ;) I have trouble reconciling a Druid who is not opposed to these things...anyone have any insights? |
| #7revvecorJul 01, 2008 14:39:55 | Thought I'd add some emphasis there since I think it got missed the first time through ;) Well they are in good standing with Fey and creatures of nature. I have always thought of them as being a combination of hedonists and hippies. They see the world as a place to have fun, and the more diversity(good or bad) the more fun they can have. They are the druids representing the chaotic aspects of nature, the creation of new life and the storm the destroys the forest are all good and normal to the GreenSingers. |

| #10nymrohdJul 02, 2008 13:29:44 | Well Greensingers believe that undead, aberrations and outsiders are natural creatures of other dimensions. So when they are in Eberron they are not unnatural but rather displaced. |
| #11NivedJul 02, 2008 14:08:20 | Yeah it seems the Greensingers (aka dirty hippies) think that EVERYTHING is natural. The planes are natural the world is natural everything that exists is natural man... because man, that's like, the nature of nature, that it exists man. Sure the Daelkyr are horriffic creatures that will shatter you mind, body, and soul, but that's just what they do dude, trying to stop them is like trying to stop beavers from building dams man. |
