| #1need_a_lifeSep 19, 2008 12:35:29 | I am currently running a 4E campaign in Stormreach and while City of Stormreach has obviously been some help (really, there's a lot of the things in there I had already worked out before laying my hands on it) I am open to suggestions. My current deviations from "canon" are as follows: - There are six Coin Lords; those added are: Clegg Zincher and "Boss Croat" - The Harbour Lord is also known as "the Overlord" because of his control of the docks, the most vital part of Stormreach. - There is a newspaper the "Stormreach Chronicle," which I use as a campaign handout [including a summary from the previous setting, profiles on the influential citizens of Stormreach and descriptions of the major organisations of Eberron]. It is a single page per session, possibly two, if the players decide to write some articles. So, any ideas for what I could add to Stormreach to make the game more enjoyable and memorable? |

And the dragon I suggested wasn't mindless, just hungry, angry, and mad because the city did something that ****** him off (indeed, in DoE there is even a part that suggests having a dragon attack Stormreach! Read it up before you attack me/my ideas please) |

But yeah, I should have offered a better idea in place of yours. In fact, now that I think about it some more, I think the idea of a dragon taking over Stormreach could be a lot of fun. Moves into the Falconer's Spire and calls the city its own. How would all the different organizations react to that? That could be a lot of fun. Sorry for being so harsh, Four Stragglers, it was uncalled for. |

| #7NivedSep 21, 2008 10:39:56 | One could grab one of the Ten Day Free Trials to Dungeons and Dragon's Online: Stormreach and run around the districts of the Harbor, the Marketplace, Forgelight (or as its called in game the House Denieth district), the Temple district (House Phiarlan's district), Respite (House Jorasco's), and Silverwalls (House K). Oh there are differences between that MMO and Table Top Stormreach, The Twelve is in the wrong place and the Blood Ring gladatorial arena doesn't exist in DDO, but most of whats there matches up. Grab some screenshots, you know so when you tell them they go to Falconer's Spire you can toss them a printout and show them what it looks like. Beyond that its hard to tell you what to add as things I've added in my game set in Stormreach are all directly tied into my plot, and the backgrounds of the characters I have playing in my game. |
