Are there are recommended threads for good fluff thoughts on House Deneith, how it operates, and the day-to-day attitudes and opinions of its members?

I am playing in an Eberron campaign (3.5 if it matters) where my PC is cleric of the Blood of Vol who has the 'Favored in House' feat for Deneith.  He does not have a dragonmark, but is from a powerful family within the house.  I really want to play up the social effects of the feat as an obligation/committment and not just a means of getting favors.  Everytime we're in a town with a Denith outpost, I'm going to have my character stop in, chat, ask if there's anything they need, if anyone requires healing, or if anyone has questions about the BoV.  Maybe even look for long-lasting clerical spells that they could use casted?  (Currently only 4th level.)

While one side of the house is devoted to mercenaries (who take lives), there's also the side devoted to preserving life in the personage of their bodyguards.  I'm not sure how my character feels about the dichotomy.

Links, or even thoughts in this thread about how to play up the perspective of a non-dragonmarked member of the family would be appreciated.

The_Fireballed_Mage wrote up a wealth of information on all the Houses awhile back.  Here's a link to House Deneith (its about a third of the way down the page).
