I did, and that's the weird thing. Every single Jorasco Halfling that I found mention to was listed as "X d'Jorasco". It's like they simply don't have anyone outside of the Jorasco family.
Does anybody have/know where to find a list of the family names that are carriers of the Mark of Healing?
To the best of my knowledge, it's never been defined in canon. There is some logic to having family names based on Talenta clans, much as House Tharashk has its clan names. However, the reason Houses like Tharashk, Sivis, Thuranni, etc have line names well-defined is because rivalries between family lines play an important role in the house. Per canon, this isn't the case in Jorasco, and as such it's never become a priority. Essentially, a Tharashk heir may think of himself as an 'Aashta first and Tharashk second; a healer thinks of himself as a Jorasco first with his bloodline second.
Of course, you may want to do things differently in your campaign, and if so, you have free rein to define your own Jorasco families!
I guess I had had it in my mind that all the Dragonmarked Houses had family conflicts as part of canon; however, I had never really paid attention to it, because I had always played fast and loose with the canon, allowing any race to take dragonmarks without any real penalty.
The game I'm starting now will be sticking a bit more to the 3.5 mentality of "proper race for each dragonmark, otherwise it's an Aberrant mark." It's kind of because I was growing a bit tired of people taking race+mark+class+feats to make fully optimized builds (like minotaur thunder warden). So, having moved to a new state and playing with new people who are new to the setting, I want to make sure that the flavor remains intact.
In any case, I guess I'm going to let my wife, who is the player who spawned this question (playing a Healing marked Cleric of Olladra), to just decide what she would like the House to be like, for the purposes of her character concept.
