I can't find this anywhere, so I'll ask here

Dec 10, 2010 22:57:16 I'm trying to figure out what exactly the lore says is in the Bluespine Peaks, down in the southeast corner of Xen'drik. I'm DM'ing a group thats going down there, and I cant find in any of the books I have (they're all the books for the Eberron setting, none of the fantasy novels) what exactly (if anything) is down there.

Hoping someone with a bit more Eberron knowledge than myself might be able to help me out a bit here

Dec 11, 2010 0:38:17 I can only recommend looking in Secrets of Xen'drik (which I don't own, so my aid is going to be limited in that regard) if you want to know what might be "officially" there.

However, it's like those old 17th and 18th century maps that had "here be dragons" on the places they hadn't explored yet -feel free to fill in the blanks with whatever you desire.

It's also Xen'drik, which means is quite literally could be nearly anything. Magical cataclysms tend to do things like mess with the laws of physics and causality, so I've always viewed Xen'drik as the place to put stuff that just doesn't make sense anywhere else.

Dec 11, 2010 0:44:10 I couldn't find anything specific in Secrets of Xen'drik, although it was a quick read-through and not a very comprehensive read when I checked it. I'll look through it a bith more thoroughly this time, and see if I can find anything in particular. It's looking like I just get to have fun w/ my Frostburn book instead.

Dec 11, 2010 13:28:41 I know I can put whatever I want to there, its just that everyone aside from me is rather familiar with Eberron, and while I was going to go with what suited me, I was wondering if there was any lore about what was down there I could throw in that my guys would be familiar with, at the very least so I can turn it around on them when they think they know whats going on, lol.
