| #1four_stragglersAug 26, 2008 13:23:12 | I know most of you do not support this, but if WoTC was to do it anyway, which marks would you give to the two new races? Personally I'd give the Halflings the mark of scribing, and then give Tieflings the mark of hospitality, because there is something very creepy and fitting about the dark, "evil lite" race taking care of you while you sleep, if you can pay up of course. I'd shift mark of passage to Half-Elves and give Mark of Storm to the Dragonborn, because it just seems to fit them. Either that or give them the Mark of Finding. What would you do? |

I'll just note that WotC isn't going to do it. If the debate is "What might you do in YOUR campaign, regardless of what WotC does", more power to you and interesting question. But in terms of what WotC is going to do, the information in Dragonmarked should still hold true in 4E. |

| #4mystrichAug 26, 2008 15:19:16 | I wouldn't give any to Tieflings. They're sort of a mixed blood type race like Shifter's and Changelings. I would bend the rules and allow them to take Aberrant Marks though, despite not being a dragonmarked race. Dragonborn, I think I might have replace half-orcs in my game, just because I don't want to buy 6+ books just to have the entire setting. They have basically replaced them as the core fighter-type race. |
