That's true. I tried to make it short-cropped style, but it turned out I just can't make her cute and lovely that way, so I kinda decided to go a little longer. Hope this didn't ruin her picture in your mind

Now I'm not going to suggest that the artists making the pictures and miniatures might have had an ulterior motive for portraying her as somewhat more . . . developed than she should actually be. However its worth bearing in mind.

As for Vol, it's a matter of personal opinion. *I* have always been of the opinion that Erandis was killed before she was a full adult and thus before she attained true mastery of her mark - though I'm still thinking more of late teen by human standards as opposed to being tweeny like Jaela. Beyond that, she's one of the most powerful wizards in the setting and she's had thousands of years to acquire rituals and magic items, so when I've presented Erandis I've always had her true lich-y appearance hidden by illusion. It's something that could be swept away when battle is joined, as in the image from Faiths of Eberron - but again, with her level of power, a long-term disguise self effect shouldn't be hard.

Yea I love that work. In fact I looked at it when I was portraiting Jaela and gladly found my color selection was quite close to it. I guess that's the best combination. :D

Thanks for the comments Hellcow. I too am thinking Vol should look much younger, with very little rotten flesh like an ordinary lich, if any. Now a disguise could perfectly explain that. I was asking for Vol's mini basically for details of her appearance like hair color and such, but I feel she should look more like a queen (as she is called the lich queen) with extreme dark beauty, unlike what the minis and the FOE image have depicted. Please do point out though if you think differently and I'd be more than happy to put that in my work.

That may be one thing ... but the constant references to the characters within Eberron who are obviously young in a sexual way just seems ... well ... it just seems wrong. That's all.
