I like Kalashtar.  I like Psions.

Kalashtar in Eberron's Player's Guide are advantaged in Wisdom, and favor the Warlock class.

Psions use Intelligence as their main mechanic.

Gamers who play 4th ed metagame, so they can't see a benefit to combining the Kalashtar with the Psion to create a traditional Kalashtar.  Kalashtar in 3rd ed favored the Psion class.  How do you reconcile the past with the present?

My Kalashtar house rule:
Ability Scores: +2 Wisdom, +2 Intelligence

There, problem solved. Laughing

Meh, my feeling is that they shouldn't be basis the characters wholey on stat bonuses. They should be playing the characters because they have a fun concept. In my games "I'm a revenant assasin because that race and class combo works" doesn't cut it. I want more than that. Why are you? How did you become what you are.

Good news, Elton74!

The Dragon 397 article Options for Everyone: Racial Ability Bonuses gave Kalashtar access to flex stats!

They now get +2 to Charisma and +2 to either Wisdom or Intelligence!

Actually, if they are making that argument, they don't actually want to play a Kalashtar.
