| #2snarky_monkeyMay 30, 2008 21:31:33 | Which images are you talking about? If your talking about these, I can see your point. Looks like Anubis from Stargate. ![]() ![]() |
| #3elrodianMay 30, 2008 22:17:38 | i did not mean the pic. i was talking about what you guys think they would look like becaues i did not know there was a pic of it. I was meaning that i believe they would look like an ancient in it "i am light" from. |
| #4snarky_monkeyMay 30, 2008 22:40:27 | I'm sorry, I misunderstood. There are three Quori shown in Secrets of Sarlona. That one previous is the Hashalaq |
| #5shady314May 31, 2008 0:11:20 | Well the Kalashtar Quori spirits don't look like anything. They absorbed themselves into what would become the Kalashtar. The Quori of Dal Quor look like creatures of nightmare since you know they ARE nightmares. I don't think the ones that rebelled and became the kalashtar looked any different at the time. They thought differently than them but there's no reason to think they were entirely different. If a Kalashtar were somehow able to speak to a physical embodiment of their quori ancestor it might look however they expected it to look, or however it wanted to look or it may have the same terrifying appearance which could be quite a shock if they were the sort to judge a book by it's cover. I certainly wouldn't go the humanoid column of light route with them though. |

| #7elrodianMay 31, 2008 10:06:46 | Well the Kalashtar Quori spirits don't look like anything. They absorbed themselves into what would become the Kalashtar. Thanks guts but i was talking about when they are mass of light with Tenyicle come out of them |

| #9vegetalss4May 31, 2008 13:49:46 | I belive that they looked exatly like ordenari quori. thay only had a different spiritual belief, they wheren't a different speicies |
| #10EdymnionJun 01, 2008 21:13:34 | Yeah, their original forms would have been all evil looking, covered with eyes and pinchers and everything else, just like all the others. Same race, same appearance. Rather like the Tok'Ra from Stargate. Just because they were good guys doesn't mean they weren't fanged snakes that bore into your head and take control of your brain. They just ask permission first. |
| #11ArdegrathJun 02, 2008 16:25:41 | I agree with Edy, they are same race as the others. Now in another age when there was a different ruler, they might have possessed different bodies. Probably once their "new age" comes the new quorri might be different also. Making all the surviving kalashtar continue to be ugly. Plus that is why a kalashtar is able to get the quori nightmare prestige class, and take all those feats of scaring which the inspired can also take. |
| #12revvecorJun 02, 2008 16:37:03 | Of course the child born to two Kalashtar parents will be a Tom Cruise clone:P |
