I'm looking for advice on some Character Development for my LE Enchanter, in Eberron.

CL 8, Human, wiz 3/MstS 5 Enchanter (Necromancer)

Overarching goals are (in no particular order)

Overthrow House Sivis, or start my own Notaries/Scribes guild (information access galore by scribing documents for all the important people of the world)

Overthrow The Blood of Vols, re-instate the Mark of Death in the Elves and become their Undead God.

Become the power behind the throne of various national organizations/entities/governments/religious organizations

We are currently based out of Flamekeep

So far it's been cheesy little things like monopolizing the taverns and inns, and charging outrageous fees, starting up legitimate scribing businesses around Flamekeep, and using our various startup cults to run interference against competitors.

I need ideas and goals to start plotting and planning for when our group has enough power to make more region-wide power moves, and not just little things in our one city.

Also, looking for ideas/guidance on picking up minions who will serve my purposes well...

Specifically an Elf front man for my personal sect of the Blood of Vols (and who will eventually be the first sire of the new Mark of Death bloodline).

A front man is handy because a.) people will be far more convinced that it's possible to re-instate the mark of death on an actual elf. b.) There is that layer of protection between myself and the actual the law by having a front man (think Raz Algul (sp?) from Batman begins).

An idea for the front elf:

1. Get in touch with some elves loyal to the Undying Court. See if you can find a Aereni embassy in Flamekeep or something -- not sure if that exists, but anyway, see if it's possible.

2. Explain to them that you want to undermine the Blood of Vol from within. That is, you seek to create a heretical branch that will divide and weaken the BoV. In short, tell them a bit of the truth about your basic intentions, but completely deceive them about your motives.

3. Explain that for the purposes of this project, you'd like to recruit an elven volunteer to aid you in the division and weakening of the Blood of Vol.

If you get the front elf, you can start out with giving tasks that are consistent with your previously stated mission -- weakening the Blood of Vol by dividing it. Eventually, your plan will grow beyond that, and will involve doing things that clearly aren't involved with an attempt to weaken the BoV, but by that time hopefully you gradually enlighten the elf about your real objectives, while retaining loyalty.
