Leaellynasaura don't work as Fastieths

Jun 17, 2009 14:34:54 While adapting Eberron to another game system today [Rolemaster Fantasy Roleplaying/Rolemaster the Standard System if you really need to know), I set about converting the Fastieth. And I had some problems finding out the height of Leaellynasaura. However, I found out that they stood 20 inches (1 foot, 8 inches) tall.

So, I hunted for an alternative. Gallimimus and Ornithomimus seems okay for me. Just stat them out as ostriches, and away I go! Anyhow, I had a blast doing the rest of it [I statted out like more than 10 martial arts like Aundairian Spellswordsmanship, Thranish Swordsmanship, Karrnathi Swordsmanship, Valanar Cavalry Training, Valanar Shortbowmanship, Karrnathi Longbowmanship, Thoughtshifting, Ragewild Fighting, Brute Fighting, Disturbing Visage, Dancing with Shadows, Cyran Swordsmanship, Boomerang throwing, and Battleshifter Training!! Man, Martial Arts and Weapon Arts are soooooo incredibly fun in Rolemaster -- ahem], but that seemed to be the only problem.

Okay, bring on the flames and tell me I'm wacked.

I would suggest that Thrane have some sort of proficiency with longbows, however, since Longbows are the favored weapon of its theocracy.

No problem . . . but longbows be longbows, and Thrane be Thrane, no matter the system you're playing in.
