I'd like to see a new game based on Eberron. I was wondering what you'd like to see if they made one or two.

Some of my thoughts:
  • Main plot could be written by Keith Baker or Don Bassinghtwaite.
  • Single player.
  • Turn Based.
  • Isometric 3'rd person view.
  • World Spanning adventure, at least of Khorvaire.
  • Memorable party members. Should show the diversity of Eberron.
  • Sharn should definitely be one of the locations in the game.
  • Sandbox design philosophy. Give the player freedom.
  • A nice variety of Alternative Endings
  • Let the player have an effect on the world.

I think some of the people from the original Fallout games and Arcanum would be perfect for the feel I want.

Some specific things that would be neat:
  • A Priest of the Becoming God.
  • A Goblinoid Paladin of The Silver Flame as a example of Eberron's non-traditional style.
  • A chance to talk with Jaela "loli-pope" Daran :P
  • Easter Eggs that reference things that have inspired Eberron or are used as inspiration (Like say a throwaway reference to a Human Artificer and a Warforged Artificer searching for the Philosophers Stone..)

These ideas are basically what I'd like to see in a Eberron PC game.
What about you?

man the time me and my friends have waited talking about this.lol
1. character customization. PERIOD!
something like Mass Effect-- man i loved that game-- and something other than being a human. the classes you can choose from should be fair ranging in roles. Artificer(techie), fighter(soldeir), rogue or ranger(scout), swordmage(mage/fighter), wizard(duh), cleric(duh!). if it is turn based, and i'm not saying it has to be, it could easily use the 4e system. that's just the beginning.

oh, and Mr. Wyatts could easily write an awesome game.:D

I said no such thing, I just thought it might be interesting. As far as I remember it talked about how it would be great if the game was following the lines of planescape tournament. Maybe not in general atmosphere (I never had a good enough computer for it back in the days). But in the vast amount of opportunities you had.

True, but I have a tendency of stating the obvious.

Planescape Torment would be a good source for inspiration.
