Oct 29, 2008 19:39:23 In the MM3, there is an entry for the Living Construct subtype: is there a SRD entry for this? Obviously there is none for the MM3 itself, but I'd like to reference the Living Construct subtype, and as far as I can tell, it is Closed Game Content. icanhasplz?

Oct 29, 2008 20:41:17 You mean reference it in an ogl product or reference it for your own campaign? The Rules Compendium Web Enhancement has a complete list of all types and subtypes ever published by WotC.

It is free, and so it can be assumed that it can be used for role-playing without any legal ramifications (though the documentation at it's begining could be worded better, so that assumptions aren't necessary). I intend to use this information for a specific campaign, but it will be shown in a public place. Since the pdf itself is publicly available, and I'm not publishing anything, I'd assume that there is no issue with using it (again, I'd rather not assume).
I still would like a OGL/SRD copy of it, if it's possible.

Ah, very nice. This is almost what I am looking for. You could play it safe and simply link to that page. I'd personaly take the liberty of emailing it to my players or uploading it to a closed collaborative environment.

Oct 29, 2008 22:04:06 Take a close look at the legal text on the first page: I'm sure that this was not their intentions, but the way that it's worded makes it look like you don't have permission to use it. It's not important, but it is amusing.
