I'm not going to link you guys to it for obvious reasons, but someone got a hold of the 4E Eberron book somehow and is providing scans of it on another site. Very interesting read.

One word: Impossible. The book can't be done this early, and it generally takes about three months to get the printing done.

Ya, even if it is true, the book is probably still being developed/edited, so anything there is going to be changed anyway.

Yes, I'm curious about this myself... I'm wondering if 4S may have mistaken the Grand History of Eberron for the 4E Eberron material... or if someone's just running a scam. As far as I know, the 4E Eberron books haven't even been through development yet, let alone layout, and if they HAVE somehow been leaked, the material is anything but final.

Teaser posts are so mean!!

While i doubt that it's anything remotely final (or official) it would be nice to see more, possibly innovative, views on 4th ed Eberron

What about some 4E Dragonshards on Dragonmarks, Shifters, Tiefling, Dragonborn, changeling, basicly the "changed" races.

I jumped the gun guys. Sorry. I saw a bunch of information in a topic on another site labelled as official Eberron leak and it turned out to be just a bunch of stuff that was made up. I got excited and posted about it here without verifying whether it was real or not.

I'm sorry for wasting the time of the people who took the time to private message me about this.

As the time of the Eberron books' release gets closer, you can be sure we'll be featuring preview material prominently on D&D Insider. But let us finish it first!

I'm not sure what you're actually asking for. I'm certainly not in a position to leak sections of the book. What James is talking about would be articles in DDI - things like the "Playing Warforged" or Artificer playtest articles. That's officially sanctioned, and I'm sure you will see more of those over the next six months. But I'm just a freelancer - I'm not legally allowed to post preview material here.

Or am I misunderstanding the request?

Hi Keith,

I think we are all being just a tad cheeky if im honest. We are all so looking forward to seeing the new stuff we just can't wait !

I accept and respect you cannot break any NDAs etc it was simply a cheeky hopeful request that there might be something we could get our collective teeth into :D

kind regards...

I want wallpaper for all of Wayne Reynolds' Eberron spreads without the D&D and Eberron branding! Well, maybe a small Eberron logo in the corner somewhere.

Been there, it's not hi-res, and some of them are scans rather than original digital copies.

Nothing like rumours and half-truths to dash your dreams :P .

Whatever you are working upon, oh mysterious Hellcow, make it machiavellian enough to give the Quori the shivers. Some 4e extra emphasised intrigue would be great (or barring that, some more info on the Aurum and just how they operate) .

There are better books to run a game of intrigue with.

Oh! I thought you wanted 'wallpaper' for your computer. I didn't realize you were going to wallpaper your home with Reynold's art. :D

Which would would be really cool.

Have Fun

p.s. My ghetto pc isn't cool enough to notice the lack of hi-res. Sorry that my suggestion didn't help.

It's certainly smaller than the resolution of my screen which is only 1440x900.

I'm sure there are books out there, but I'm happy with my intrigue aplenty in Eberron. Never quite sure who's a Quori sleeper, who's a Trust Informant and who's a Rakshasa in disguise and making me dance to it's millenia-long plan.
