#1 taylon_moonshadow Jul 01, 2008 22:40:27	In 4th Edition Lycanthropes no longer pass on their "curse" when they bite someone. The church of the silver flame has hunted lycanthropes because of their evil curse and their ability to pass it on . . . so the flame has hunted and killed to save others (their rational). Even novel series such as the "Blade of the Flame" series deals a lot with lycanthropes and the spreading of the disease / curse. Is there any insight how the mechanics of 4th edition are going to handle this storyline aspect of Eberron?
#2 snarky_monkey Jul 01, 2008 22:53:16	I believe Keith Baker's thoughts on this matter had to do with lycanthropy being an evolving condition. So, though during times of the purge and recently it was infectious, it has now evolved to a non spreading strain, though it does spread disease that effects the minds of those bitten.
