I was looking at December's releases, and realized that the creature on the cover of the Manual of the Planes looks quite a bit lit a Quori. Any thoughts?

It will be interesting to see how Manual of the Planes gels with the differences between 3.5 Eberron Cosmology and 4e Eberron Cosmology.

hopefully it won't. Eberron Cosmology is different from the core cosmology. Eberron's cosmology should be addressed in the Eberron books

I think it is safe to assume that there will be a paragraph or two about specific places and organizations and how you can adapt them too other settings, much like they started to doo with the 3.5 MMs after #3. Now on the other hand I don't really care, I have no intention of buying that particular book.

But the Monster sure as heck can work as a Dreaming Dark substitute for now as I await the official ones in about 6 or 7 months...

Aye, Keith had Obryth demons living in Xoriat. Things are turned on it head when it comes to Eberron. The Dreadnought could be found in Xoriat or the Dream Realm.

Personnally I m under the impression that 4e plane were inspired a lot by Eberron.

Thelanis is the feywild, Kythri is the elemental chaos, Mabar is the shadow plane etc...
