Have you made villians that had something "extra" that the rules do not cover?

I have this villian that is turning out to be a real hoot to run. He is a rich assassin that was kicked out of House Thurrani for unknown reasons (that part is up in the air). He wears black leather armor all over and only his face is uncovered. He is very germ phobic. One PC picked up on this by clues that were left and has a few jars of sewer water ready to throw at him. If an attack lik that hits him I have it wear he is weakened (4E game) until he is cleaned off, that means half damage until he bathes.

It does not stop there though. He is a pretty tough cookie and has the Fey Template placed on him so it may be tough for the PCs to land an attack. He also made a deal with Mordain so he could become unkillable. He has a Phylactery of a sort that was given to him by Mordain. When he gets to 0 HPs his body dissolves (except for his gear) and he is "cloned" again at the Phylactery, but he is not undead. Mordain is a master of the body and flesh after all.

The trick of it is The assassin (Tilian) did not fully complete his part of the bargain he had with Mordain. He was to kill a rival of Moradain's in Droaam and he faked it to look like he did. The reason was the creature that Tilian was to whack was really heinous in appearance and he could not stomache going near it. So now Mordain wants his rival and Tilian dead. I wonder who he should ask? ;)

Anyway do any of your villians have any added thing that makes them mechanically special?

I have an (accidentally) re-occurring villain in my game currently. The group are currently running around the Whitehorn Wood (northern Breland) fighting against three clans of kobolds. In one of the early encounters they faced off against a Wild Mage kobold (from the Dragon Kobold supplement).

The party absolutely pasted the rest of the kobolds, but against the wild mage everyone kept rolling 1's. I kid you not, it was as though Olladra herself had blessed this kobold. Eventually he decided to leg it, wild teleported away and escaped.

Now a session or two on I planned to have the party face off against the wild mage again and a larger group of more organised kobolds. This encounter was much more difficult, but the party won again... except against this wild mage. I don't know what's with him but again nobody could roll above a 5 to harm or otherwise strike this wild mage.

So he survive and escapes (as all good kobolds do) and legged it back to the clan stronghold, which the players promptly stormed. Again there is a battle and AGAIN this kobold through sheer luck survives.

After three successful encounter and no luck killing him I have named this Kobold Squeak (a dedication of sorts to Baseketball) and he is the reoccurring villain of this current plot arc. Apparently touched by Tiamat herself, he is possibly the luckiest monster I have ever seen. I don't need to have game mechanics, I just watch the dice roll low every time someone target's him. It's gotten to the point where the party elects to ignore him and attack something else (even if it's harder for them to target another kobold) rather than waste their luck on him.

All hail Squeak the (un)Lucky!

All hail Squeak the (un)Lucky!

...whoa. This is seriously freaky. I had the same thing happen to my party, except it was a goblin named Squee rather than a kobold named Squeak. I kid you not; I posted [post=16983329]this[/post] on the Best Lines Ever thread after it happened.

Same thing happened to my group with a Rat Master Kobold. tho after the 2nd encounter he convinced the group to help him become his clan chief (a position that was stolen from him when the Dragon Below clerics in the clan put a Dolgrim as chieftain) and in return he helped them eliminate the Dragon Below elements in his clan.
