#1 swal Oct 13, 2009 2:13:32	Hello there!   I am pretty new to this messageboard so I am not sure I can post this message here... Anyone knows if Wotc will release a full lenght campaign for Eberron/more products? I mean after Seeker of the Ash Crown... I checked the schedule for the next year but nothing to be annonced. Then? Thanks!
#2 veltharis_ap_rylix Oct 13, 2009 7:55:08	Though it is always subject to change, WotC's policy for 4e regarding setting-specific material seems to be three books (Campaign Guide, Players' Guide, and an adventure) and everything else through DDI. As such, you might want to invest in the 3.5 era books and a DDI subscription (presuming you haven't already, on both counts), because unless things change, there won't be anymore Eberron books. *crosses fingers*
#3 swal Oct 13, 2009 8:25:02	Thanks! I think I have heard this before : only three books. I have suscribed to DDI (great stuffs!) and I hope there will be regular adventures for Eberron... I didn't know this setting before playing the 4th edition then which adventures for 3.5 do you reccommend to me? Any links to where this kind of things are discussed? Thanks!
#4 Madfox11 Oct 13, 2009 10:03:15	There are 4 officially published 3E adventures (outside Dungeon anyway). I liked Eyes of the Lich Queen even though we broke it by chapter 3 and beyond. I cannot remember the titles of the other earlier serie of adventures, but they did not make much of an impression on me. Personally though, I would find converting them a bit of a pain. Resource management between 3E and 4E is completely different, so not only do you need the convert the monster stats (relatively easy), you also need to check the pacing of the adventure and the number of encounter in between extended rests. I think that your money is better spend on the 3E campaign setting books, especially the ones on Sarlona, Stormreach and Argonesse since those don't get much attention in the 4E campaign setting book. As for DDI, well, even without specific Eberron adventures (and I doubt there will be many) you can easily adapt the generic adventures. If you have trouble doing so yourself, you can always ask the people on these boards for advice. For example, we recently discussed adapting Revenge of the Giants to Eberron.

I disagree entirely actually. I think people should stop buying the 3e Eberron books except for: Sharn: City of Towers City of Stormreach Secrets of Xen'drik Faiths of Eberron Dragonmarked All the other books aren't needed for a 4th ed campaign. Nope. Definitely not. At least, not until I've secured a copy (In all seriousness, I definitely recommend all the 3.5e Eberron books. Look at the Table of Contents and consider the needs for your campaign of course. But with carefully selecting the books I buy, I have yet to be disappointed. I'm actually disappointed Amazon has run out of some books All the above books I'd highly recommend, along with Dragons of Eberron, Secrets of Sarlona and Forge of War)
#6 durskut Oct 14, 2009 10:26:05	I completely agree with the 3.5 Eberron books keeping their value.  I'm starting to make my transition between 3.5 and 4e and I still find myself constantly referencing them for lore (a lot more than the 4e books).  Here's my list: 3.5 Eberron Campaign Setting Five Nations Dragonmarked Player's Guide to Eberron The Forge of War Secrets of Xen'drik Faiths of Eberron Secrets of Sarlona Explorer's Handbook Magic of Eberron Sharn: City of Towers I've pretty much read all these books as if they were novels (as in start at page 1, read to the back cover) and enjoyed it a lot.  On a personal note for the more complete out there, what am I missing?  I want to have the complete collection.  Is it really only City of Stormreach and Dragons of Eberron? Or is there more to be had?
