| #1dblizzardSep 02, 2006 12:25:55 | Having noted the relatively low awareness about the amazing Korranberg Chronicles, I thought it might be a nice idea to have a thread listing the various non-WotC Eberron resources out there. Suggest anything I've missed. I know we've lost a lot of great sites (such as the aforementioned Korranberg Chronicles). d20 NPC Wiki Eberron section Dungeon Magazine Adventure Reviews The Dragon Above (formerly "The Eberron Bestiary") - All the bits from the Eberron Bestiary, plus the Korranberg Chronicles archive, 4E Eberron news and more. Eberron Character Generator - Be aware, a huge resource hog. Takes forever to load except on a very, very fast computer. Eberron in Dragon magazine thread - List of Eberron articles and adventures in Dragon magazine. Eberron in Dungeon magazine thread - List of Eberron articles and adventures in Dungeon magazine. Eberron Wiki ENWorld Living Eberron Jhonen Olain's Eberron Journal - Lots of Eberron resources here. The news section mostly focuses on D&D Online recently, however. Keith Baker's homepage - The initial creator of Eberron. Includes several resources, including the successor to the Ask Keith Baker thread: Ask the Dreaming Dark Edit: largely inactive now, with most activity in his blog. Keith Baker's blog Online Eberron - various resources. Save-VS-DM's Website - Several bits in his treasure section. Sean Reynold's Eberron Page - Includes his review of Eberron, and a proposal for a series of articles WotC decided not to use. Wikipedia entry Worlds of DnD - Discussion of Eberron, with a particular focus on the novels in their book club forums. For Eberron art resources see The Comprehensive Eberron Art thread. |

| #3cceroseSep 04, 2006 22:10:33 | Nice job. |
| #4joni-sanSep 05, 2006 15:45:56 | Thanks for the link. Much appreciated. Have you considered including Worlds of DnD? |
| #5dblizzardSep 05, 2006 18:03:35 | Thanks for the link. Much appreciated. Yes, but for the life of me I couldn't remember, or find, the url. Thanks. |
| #6taskiSep 06, 2006 1:35:44 | Don't forget Save-vs-DM's site. The good stuff is in the Treasure Hoard -- PrC's, Feats, etc. |
| #7Save-vs-DMSep 06, 2006 1:51:08 | Don't forget Save-vs-DM's site. The good stuff is in the Treasure Hoard -- PrC's, Feats, etc. Actually, I'm working on a brand new site (also moving over to savevsdm.com). The new site is going to have a lot more material (and I'm moving my home game stuff to my message boards). I'm still coding, but should be a lot easier on the eyes and easier to navigate. Cheers, Save vs DM |

| #9dblizzardSep 17, 2006 17:28:37 | I'm just posting so that I get emails when/if there are updates... so... ummm... bump. Unfortunately, the Eberron community seems to be drying up online rather than expanding. The inability of the excellent Essential Eberron to get going (I admit, I don't know the story of the implosion) and the folding of the Korranberg Chronicle had that sink in to me. Even Jhonen Olain's site has been dead for quite a while (admittedly, I stopped paying much attention for it when 90% of the news items became about DDO). Still, when I find a new resource that's significant I'll add it. When other's post their findings, I'll add them as well. |
| #10Save-vs-DMSep 19, 2006 12:54:09 | I was thinking about relaunching the Korranberg Chronicle as a more wiki-style website. Using a content management system, it would allow people to post thier own articles after being reviewed. It would be a good source, and while not as "pretty" as the old chronicle, it would supply plot hooks and the like. Cheers, Save vs DM |

It would be a good source, and while not as "pretty" as the old chronicle, it would supply plot hooks and the like. Now this would be an excellent idea. One of the great things about the Korranberg Chronicle was its creativity. If you found a way to allow others to post as well instead of just being limited to a select few, its potential can explode. And with that explosion, ideas for all. :D |
| #12madhouseSep 22, 2006 12:49:41 | Please count me in as well! I've been rather chagrined at the dearth of quality Eberron resources online (outside of the WOTC site, of course) and would love to participate in a project like this! |
| #13Save-vs-DMSep 23, 2006 1:13:55 | The old K.C. staff is currently in talks about how exactly we're going to get this thing running again. So the K.C. is having a rez spell cast, but we're unsure as to what version it will be. Cheers, Save vs DM |
| #14zombiegleemaxSep 24, 2006 3:23:55 | Yep...we're all currently in discussion for a new and exciting run of the KC; I'm sure there'll be a 'call to arms' on the forum shortly to generate interest in this revamped project, but in whatever form the KC returns I'm certain it'll be a useful resource site for the Eberron community. More news soon, then...![]() |
| #15dblizzardNov 23, 2006 4:09:50 | Added several useful messageboard threads to the list. |
| #16dblizzardMay 13, 2007 18:18:24 | Added Online Eberron. |
| #17heathwilderMay 13, 2007 20:25:48 | As the Korranburg Chronicle Archive link is no longer going I was wondering if anyone (Save-Vs-DM? ;^) has or knows of where the 15 old issues might beon the net. Save-vs-Dm ... you think you might archive them on the new site. ;) I'm down to cut pasting Sharn Inquisitive and Breland Ledger artices together for my players ![]() ____________________________________ Meekrup 4 tha win |< 0 6 0|dz will pwn all!!! |

| #19lurkalotMay 29, 2007 14:00:00 | I have a small Eberron section on my site at http://www.knasser.me.uk. It's currently not huge but I think there's some good stuff on it and I'm just starting up a new Eberron campaign so it will likely be growing. I've also got a half-written document on integrating the Iron Heroes system into Eberron (or possibly it's the other way around) as I think IH fits Eberron much better than the standard D&D rules. I'll be posting that there in the near future. -L. |
| #20squirrelmortisJun 03, 2007 14:57:45 | This thread is too useful to die! |
| #21dblizzardMar 26, 2008 23:33:05 | Updated with several new and changed entries. |
| #22isran_imradorApr 01, 2008 7:11:54 | I e-mailed all my back issues of the KC to Trolls awile back... A new KC would be fun! I played around with the idea for a Aundarian Scroll / Dragonmilk Inn webpage but i never got time to do as much as i wanted... Isran |
| #23dblizzardApr 01, 2008 23:15:03 | I e-mailed all my back issues of the KC to Trolls awile back... A new KC would be fun! Yet issue 13 is still missing ;) I used to have it (as I recall), but the hard drive it was on crashed quite a while back. |
| #24isran_imradorApr 03, 2008 5:01:29 | That server crashed about the same time as the 13 moon disapered didnt it? ;) |
