Some of them like the Warforged Juggernaut seem suited to be created as Paragon Paths. But some prestige classes like the Extreme Explorer or the Dragonmark Heir will not make much sense to start using them at level 11. |

Most of the "low level" prestige class features I expect will be available with feats, perhaps ones that serve as prerequesites to Paragon Paths later on. |

Even more so than in the case of a member of a usual prestige class , both the Extreme explorer and the Dragonmarked Heir are supposed to be experienced, powerful and influential. The paragon Tier is supposed to be the one were all these features are prevalent:player characters are supposed to be established, well set apart from the masses and their actions often have national or even global effect. Thus, I believe that they should become paragon paths. There was a thread concerning national paragon paths, many of which were based on prestige classes. Here is a compilation in Trolls' Dragon Above website and here's a link to the original thread. |

Their current level boundaries make it a little hard to say. I think they'll both be Paragon Paths. Siberys Marks were pretty much paragon tier by 3E standards, so I don't think an epic destiny is appropriate. As for the Dragonmark Heir - I don't think feats are enough. Maybe the mechanical concept will survive (that is, a path to focus on one's dragonmark) but the story concept will shift from heroic to paragon. That is, instead of Dragonmark Heir, we get Dragonmark Paragon. |
| #6AvonRekaesFeb 26, 2009 12:53:20 | Also, just to add to Troll's post, Siberys Marks and Dragonmarked Heirs are mutually exclusive. You can't be both because in order to get the Syberis mark you can't have any of the weaker Marks. So the progression of Heroic>Dragonmarked feats, Paragon>Dragonmarked Heir, Epic>Mark of Siberys doesn't make sense. Instead there'll be two Paragon Paths, one for focusing on your already existing dragonmark, and one for manifesting the powerful Siberys mark. |
