So i have come up with the idea that the Quabalrin built a great library away form there city-state and had drows guard the library. With the death of the Quabalrin kingdom the drow stay and use the Quabalrin knowledge. They soon form a monarchy and the ancestors of the monarchy are worshiped as gods.

So what do you think i am going to have a story with this in it and i want to see what the community thought of it.

Another way for the Qabalrin to spit to the Giants' faces I suppose. Not a bad idea at all. Let us know how you will expand this. Here are some questions:

  • What is their opinion of the Qabalrin era? Is it a hated period of slavery or the golden times, when the mighty wizards took care of every need? And the Qabalrin themselves ?The vampires might be little more than a myth, or the culture's demons. Of course, the truth about that era might be completely different.

  • What about the powerful Qabalrin relics? Are they taboo?A privilege of the priesthood? Or are they and the ancient necromantic arts the backbone of the culture?

  • Are the insular or the opposite? How about their relations with their neighbours? You might consider the Umbragen, the drow civilization that makes great use of Qabalrin lore.

  • And finally...are we talking about a surface or an underground kingdom?

It was a golden time for them compare to the other drows in the world. They are assistants and servants but not slaves. I have it that there were vampires but the drows were not given to them they were seen as part of the kingdom but they could not get very far. The Qabalrin knowledge is the back born of the these drows. The royal line, the monarchs are normally females, are the most powerful necromancers. they do not have contact with other drows because they are in the deserted and the library were they live (it has hundreds of halls of books and items) is built under ground because they fear the giants will move in on them so they moved there knowledge to the library and they hate the Umbragen because they see themselves as the heirs to the Qabalrin

well i have going to have a group form with the mission of going to the library to get there hands on the books but they do not know about the drows or a group of people that are working for Vol herself.

I have a House Lyrandar heir/ wizard. who is a leading historian. i want to have a Kalashtar join him but i do not know how to put him in to the group.
