| #1larry_the_titanMay 06, 2008 18:18:28 | I have been looking at the Renegade MasterMaker for an build for an NPC but can someone explain to me why there is a creature type limit of Humanoid? Why can't a Giant or Monstrous Humanoid take the class? I could understand a limit of Non Undead Non Construct but just Humanoid makes no sense to me. |

But why couldn't there be? Giants apparantly had a form of warforged back in the ancient past that might of been there size. Personlly I can picture a Minotaur with a half metal face, a glowing red eye, a Metal horn and one metal leg plus one rather large metal fist. |

The point of the "Humanoid Only" clause was, I think, more intended to exclude WARFORGED from taking a PrC that culminates in them becoming a warforged. Trying to avoid confusing redundencies that the CharOp board would find a way to exploit. Basically, anything that could become an Artificer and build a magic item should be able to pursue the path of artifact-body modding. |
