Running Sea Reavers of the Shrouded Crags in Lhazaar Principalities?

After running my 4e converted Eyes of the Lich Queen from 11th to 15th level, I plan on running Sea Reavers of the Shrouded Crags (adventure from Dungeon 168 I think...?). Anyways I believe it is a perfect fit for Eberron, well once you reflavor the submersables as "elemental powered". Also I want it in the Lhazaar Principalities, I feel it could be a nice throwback to Eyes of the Lich Queen since the PCs will have been here before.

My question is where should Seryth Orodaum and The Shrouded Crags be inserted in the Lhazaar Principalities? Or should I just replace Seyrth Orodaum with Port Verge or Regalport? So far i'm thinking about the shrouded crags on the western side of Cape Far.

I'm also hoping for some suggestions to "tie" EotLQ and SRotSC together. My gripe with EotLQ is that it practically leaves no loose ties to play off of afterwards and kinda leaves the PCs stranded on Argonesson... Nothing against the place, but I don't really want my campaign to have anything to do with Argonesson after EotLQ. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get the PCs from the end of EotLQ to the beginning of SRotSC? I mean, they REALLY didn't leave any loose ends...

I have a few ideas although I feel they're really weak... Like hearing about the problems Gondra's (or who I may replace him with) problems before leaving for Argonesson... but that still doesn't help with getting them back to the Lhazaar Principalities from Argonesson...

Help?

I've never looked at EotLQ so I couldn't give you any ideas specific to the adventure, but as you say it leaves no loose ends besides stranding the PCs in Argonessen.

My one idea is to have some sort of dragon patrol find the PCs and begin trying to kill them. The PCs might kill one or two dragons if you're using level-appropriate encounters, but quickly have them realize that they just killed scouts and the cavalry is coming.
So get the PCs "flee" mode, then have them stumble upon a cave in their attempts to hide. Inside is an ancient, worn teleportation circle, from the Age of Demons. Tell them it looks functional, but it's so worn and ancient that they can't be sure it'll send them where they want to go. Then have the sounds of dragons clawing at the cave entrance en-mass reach them. Time is running out and if they're going to start the Linked Portal ritual and hope to finish it, they have to start now. (If the PCs don't have a Linked Portal ritual, have a giant tablet in the corner be a scroll of it, and let the PCs perform the ritual off it with a "high enough" arcana check even if no one knows Draconic.)
Once they complete the ritual and open the portal, they go through, hoping for the best.

While I have nothing against the idea, i'm hesitant to use it. I have a good feeling that my players wouldn't flee, but end up TPKing... Another thing that I hope it doesn't seem like is a "sequel".. levels 1-15 will have revolved around finding an NPC who ultimately brings them into EotLQ. Then Sea Reavers of the Shrouded Crags (15-18?) appears to be the beginning of the "sequal" of the last story. And kind of makes the end of EotLQ a cliffhanger ending, with them teleporting away to who knows where.

If I can't manage the "tieing together", how do you think a "Sequal" campaign would go? Instead of being an "epic" stretching from 1-30, it'd be two "shorter stories" each 15 levels long, featuring the same characters and some "reapearences" from NPCs and locations of the last "story".

If you were a player, how would you feel about this approach?

I wasn't aware you were trying to mesh the stories. I thought the badguy was soundly defeated by the end of EotLQ. Like I said, I have no knowledge of that adventure.

Perhaps try having the PCs be the chasers instead of the chase-ees. Maybe a bad guy from the adventure that you want to bring forward into Sea Reavers steals something from the PCs, something they were in Argonessen for in the first place maybe? Dunno if there's a macguffin involved in EotLQ. If there is, have the guy steal it from PCs and run into that cave I described and teleport host-knows-where. The PCs will follow, and then you're back on Khorvaire.

No offense, but I was definately expecting more replies... guess i'm just used to Whats a Player/DM to Do? and General Discussion boards "speed".

If nothing else does anyone have suggestions on how to make SRotSC more 'eberron specific'? I'm pretty sure i'm replacing Lord Gondra and Lord Felmora with one of the princes, and his general. Although Morn I think will remain the same, since dwarves aren't uncommon in the principalities. But i'm not sure what prince I should use, or if I should create one since I can only find referances to four..

Also i'm replacing Seryth Orodaum with Port Verge most likely unless someone has a better suggestion. And the Shrouded Crags will most likely be inserted into the western side of Cape Far.
