#1 rabenstolz Sep 20, 2009 6:21:03	I've just been reading through the encounters in Seekers of the Ashen Crown. And it seems they are using/giving as treasure two magic items that are illegal, according to the Player's Handbook, the DDI Compendium, and the Character Builder: No 1 - Resounding Bastardsword (Book Two p.29), No 2 - Terror Dagger (Book Two ) p.35. How did/would any of you handle this discrepancy.
#2 Plaguescarred1 Sep 24, 2009 0:43:53	This is not a problem, unless you use the Character builder. In this case, you'll have to change them to give something else if you want everything to appear in the CB. Without it, you can reflavor and administer any magic items you want in the way you want, you could easily have a Sword of Protection +2 giving the benefits of an Amulet for exemple. But the CB would not support it. I didn't mess with the CB's customization of items yet in the magic department, but i doubt you can give any magic to items not originally designed to bear such enchantment.  What i did myself was to change them for items that were more oriented toward group members.
