Pick any action/adventure movie. Change the setting to a suitably similar place in Eberron. Replace the guns with swords and spells and im sure it would make an awesome adventure. Heck, it works even if its not Eberron! Here's an example.

Predator:
An elite rescue squad (read: adventurers) is sent in the jungle of Q'Barra to rescue -insert important political figure- kidnapped by guerrilla forces in Q'Barra/Xen'drik. After slaughtering the guerrillas they discover the hostages were actually King Lanterns and their employers have lied to them.

Pitch Black:
A dangerous criminal  is being transported to prison in a cargo airship. When the airship is damaged by and makes an emergency crash landing on an island near Xen'Drik, the criminal escapes. However, when predatory flying alien creatures begin attacking the survivors. This scenario works great if you need to introduce a new anti-hero PC who just so happen to have darkvision. Plus Diesel is into D&D. :P

Die Hard scenario:
Any small, self-contained location seized by bad guys + badass hero= awesomeness!

I need more ideas. Sci-Fi action movies work too I guess, just replace sci-fi with Magitek.

Aliens - Isolated Colony (Q'Barr or Xen'drix work well here) and a whole lot of Kruthik. For extra fun, add a Diabolic Machine that is going to create a Manifest Zone to Fernia that will just toast the whole site, making a harrowing getaway in airship a necessity.

Gone in 60 Seconds - Players must steal 50 classic skycoaches from all around Sharn, and get them to the docks for collection by a rather fussy Green Dragon collector, and they only have 3 days to gather them all. The Council is already searching for this dragon, and along with house Denith, tries to stop the joyriding bonanza. Showdown happens when the players (Eventually) fail and must deal with the irrate Green Dragon.

Mummy 3: The players are sent to Sarlona where they unwittedly deliver an item that presence frees a trapped Quori, who immediately sets out to find the Spire of Eternal Power, so that he can restore his energies and summon an army of abominations to secure his power in Sarlona. Players race through wild and endangering Elemental Swarmed lands to beat the Quori to the Spire of Eternal Power and defeat the Quori before it gains even more power.

Ocean's 11: In one of the Great Feast Halls of the Morr Holds, holds a magnificent vault. Guarded by House Kundarak, it is reputed to hold enough gold to pay for all bets that the local Arena can carry. All together, this works out to be about worth 200 Astral Diamonds. All one has to do is get past the arena's gate, past the security garrison, down a life sensitive trapped shaft, down a golem guarded passageway, and into a dimensional vault. ... oh, and then just walk out. Should be a piece of cake.

Jurassic Park- While any of them are great Xen'drix encounters, number 3 can give this plot:  The PCs go in to rescue a lost child of some wealthy dragonmarked explorers, but one of the team or an NPC has been tasked with retrieving a set of eggs that would fetch a high price on the black market.  Too bad these are Scytheclaw Drake eggs, and the pack that laid them want them back, and will chase the PCs even into Stormreach for them.  And don't forget the mutated Fang Titan Drake chasing them down the whole time to boot (good mutations are extra heads, regeneration, or make it an evil ghost version if you like that type).

Congo- (Actually ran this one is 3rd, awesomeness).  A House Cannith exploration team has gone missing, and the PCs are hired as guards to accompany a house artificer and an elven ranger with a baboon companion name Amy.  Along the way a gnome who has gone broke several times weasels his way into the group, sure that they can find the lost temple of Zil, an ancient place full of diamonds.  As the group makes their way in, fighting through hostile airspace (Sulataar mages loves fiery missles shot at airships), dangerous rivers (full of hippos), and finally reach the temple.  Too bad the group is attacked by very vicious dire apes, who have been turned into bloodthirsty killers by the fire giants who used to live here and had them mining the diamonds.  Eventually, the group must guard the artificer as she prepares a device/ritual to get them out of the caves and escape in the gnome's air elementally bound hot-air balloon, all while the place collapses into a rumbling volcano.  Decide to add a fire giant at the bottom if you wish for extra shenanigans.

"So...assuming we can get through the garrison, down the shaft, with a lift we can't move and into the dimensional vault we can't open..."

"With out triping the detections spells"

"Oh yeah, sorry, I forgot to mention that"

"Yeah..so say we do all of that...uh...so we're just supposed to walk out of there with 200 Astral Diamonds, without getting stopped?

".....Yeah."

"Oh. Okay"

Awesome movie...got to find a way to work that into a game, now.

Lets not forget TV shows:

Burn Notice: Take agent of any power group, dump into enemy turf as a Burned Agent, works with party to clear name.

I blatantly ripped off the prologue of Raiders of the Lost Arc, as a segway into a campaign about a modified version of the Rod of Seven Parts.

Hell, aside from place names I don't think Fifth Element actually needs any conversion to work in Eberron.  Veteran of the recent war, now working in a city of towers where he drives a flying cab, has to help a priest and a mysterious woman recover a collection of artifacts which is the only way to stop the celestially-scheduled approach of an entire world of madness and destruction.  If you want the noir intrigue and betrayal, just reference the elements of the Harry Canyon story in Heavy Metal that Besson left out when he ripped it off to make Fifth Element.

If you want to be even more blatant, use steel predators instead of kruthik (they look exactly like Giger xenomorphs).

Robocop - A Karrnathi police officer is killed by a criminal gang and his body is now the property of the government. It goes to an undead soldier project and he's brought back as a Revenant Warforged. A second faction competes for the same funding with their own undead soldier project whose sample unit turns out to be much less stable with disastrous results. Meanwhile, the undead officer gradually recovers the memories of his time alive and much drama ensues.

I really like the idea of a LOST inspired Eberron game: Random people on a intercontinental airship flight crash and land on some mysterious island...

Not exactly an action movie but certainly worth a look and with a bit of work, a prefect Eberron Adventure in Throneport!
The Third Man - The Heroes investiagte the death of their former commander/friend/parent and get mixed up in politics, Deneith policing and sewers :-)

If you haven't seen it, it's free on moviesfoundonline.com.

Terminator 2: Five years before the Day of Mourning, a lone warforged saves a boy. They race to rescue his mother from Dreadhold, and after a daring escape head to Cyre, where the greatest of the d'Cannith forghold lies. There, they meet a reblious artificer who worries what his creations will do to the world, and together set out to fufill the visions of the Prophacy. Meanwhile, an implaceable killer pursues them, determined that the Day of Mourning shall come to pass....

You could probably do the whole series.... the Becoming God as Skynet, of course.
