I seem to remember that in the Treaty of Thronehold it mentions that Slavery has been abolished. I can't find this reference anywhere so my mind may be playing tricks on me.
But, if I'm right how does Darguun get away with having slaves? I can't find a reference to Slavery anywhere outside of Darguun but I tend to presume it happens in Droaam and that there are areas of Xendrick that practice it.
My other question came about from an opinion one of my players had, House Orien and Lyrander use Elementals to power their vehicles. By entrapping an Elemental you are enslaving another being, so in effect these houses are practicing Slavery. Is this addressed anywhere? is there a rationale behind it?
In my Eberron games I also use indentured servants and other workarounds. |

(Sorry, for some reason I am having trouble making that into a hyperlink. Or doing any formatting at all, for that matter.) There is a discussion of the elemental question somewhere, maybe on Keith Baker's website, but I can't remember where. |
