| #1Bly2729Mar 05, 2010 22:39:52 | Exactly what it says on the tin. I get that Sharn and Stormreach have source books so there's not a lot of reason to give them space. But why the monthly article on Fairhaven? Is this just the start of a series of Eberron cities or is Fairhaven uber special? Personally I'd like to see Flamekeep or any Zilargo city since I find those a lot harder to DM or come up with adventures for. Especially if Zilargo came with tips for how to run a "political intrigue" adventure. I hear that term thrown around a lot but its never really been qualified with a published adventure. |

| #3OgiwanMar 09, 2010 15:49:39 | Hm. Didn't think about it that way....To me, the Aundairan queen is one of the flashpoints for re-igniting the war. I'm always trying to think of byzantine schemes for the Lords of Dust to hatch to get Aundair to go after Thaliost and have the other 3 nations declare war. I have problems figuring out what the alliance structure would be, though..... But, to me, this is why Fairhaven, the capital of Aundair, gets an article. A "reignite the war" arc might very well be dependent on Fairhaven. Also, west is the Eldeen Reaches, which a.) is a pretty good place to start parties new to Eberron, so Fairhaven would be a major city for them to go to. |
