#1 shay9999 Dec 14, 2010 23:53:37	Episode 1: The Mercenary Just a quick note, this adventure is meant to be popped in during the start of any of the episodes, but may be harder to do in the middle of play. You may change anything to make the story fit your extras and what not. #1 -Adventurers find themselves outside a small building in the middle of a wide open field upon one of their travels Options: Action: Check door for traps or locks Search Skill Skill Check: DC10 Result: No traps found, door is unlocked. Restart #1 Action: Open the door Result: Skip to #2 Action: Knock Result: Skip to #3 Action: Break down door Strength Attribute Must be 12+ Result: Skip to #2 #2-As you enter the building, you see a frightened man in the corner of the room holding a strange amulet of sorts. Options: Action: Speak to the man Gather Information Skill Skill Check: DC 10 Result: Skip to #4 Action: Kill the man Enemy status:  Name: Odd old man  Initial damage: physical 1d6  Secondary damage: magical 1d20 + 10 Unknown  Health: 10  Special: After he hits 0, he will hit whoever has the highest hit points left with his Secondary damage. Results:  1: If the man is killed, and at least 1 member is alive, skip to #5  2: If the man kills you, mission failed #3-The door opens to a scared man, he tells you a story of magic and wonders, but it gets hard to follow. Listening Skill Skill Check: DC13 or Concentration skill Skill Check: DC10 or Gather Information skill Skill Check: DC15 Results: Skip to #4 #4-The man tells you of a wonderous land inside his amulet. He puts his finger on the amulet and goes on about how he hid several of these amulets inside his house, but only this one works, for now. He then picks up a knife and kills himself without any warning, dropping the amulet on the ground. Upon searching the room, you see no amulets, merely a desk, a chair, and a candle. Results: Skip to #5 #5-A portal opens up from the amulet, and the amulet evaporates in the process. Stay tuned for the continuation of this adventure!
